FRIGG Mini Mocha Pacifiers – From Coffee Grounds to a New Material Expression

Every material has a story. For FRIGG Mini Mocha, that story begins with coffee grounds left after coffee has been brewed.

At FRIGG, we started with a simple question: Can a by-product from everyday life become part of something new?

For the Mini Mocha pacifier shield, we use polypropylene blended with 10% processed coffee grounds recovered after brewing. The coffee grounds become part of the shield material, giving a brewing by-product a new application.

From brewed coffee to coffee grounds. From coffee grounds to a new material composition. And from material composition to a visible part of the finished design.

When the material becomes part of the story

The processed coffee grounds are not hidden within the material. Fine coffee particles remain visible in the finished shield as subtle speckles and natural surface variations.

These variations are an intentional result of the material composition and give Mini Mocha its distinctive appearance. The material creates its own pattern, adding depth and character to every color.

The coffee-ground blend is used specifically in the pacifier shield. The nipple is made from either natural rubber latex or silicone, depending on the selected variant.

Inspired by the warm world of coffee

The material composition is where the Mini Mocha story begins. The familiar world surrounding coffee inspired the collection’s colors, names, and visual identity.

For many parents, coffee is connected to small moments throughout the day: a quiet morning before the day begins, a conversation at the kitchen table, or a short pause during a busy afternoon.

With Mini Mocha, we have brought this warm and familiar atmosphere into a collection created for the small moments shared between babies and parents – from gentle mornings to calm bedtime routines.

The collection features five carefully selected shades:

• Cappuccino
• Iced Mocha
• Matcha Latte
• Vanilla Cream
• Rose Latte

The five shades are combined across eight carefully selected 2-pack color combinations. Some pairings are soft and tonal, while others create a little more contrast.

Each set contains two pacifiers presented in dedicated brown cardboard packaging that complements the warm colors and speckled material expression of Mini Mocha.

Choose between natural rubber latex and silicone

We offer FRIGG Mini Mocha with a nipple made from either natural rubber latex or silicone, allowing parents to choose the material their child already uses or prefers.

Both nipple materials are available in two sizes:

• Size 1 measures 27 mm and is recommended for babies aged 0–6 months
• Size 2 measures 30 mm and is recommended for babies aged 6+ months

Always check the individual product variant to find your preferred combination of nipple material, size, and colors.

Designed and made in Denmark

We design, produce, assemble, and package FRIGG Mini Mocha in Denmark. From the initial material considerations to the finished 2-pack, the collection brings together a distinctive shield material, carefully selected colors, and Danish design.

FRIGG Mini Mocha Pacifiers are tested in accordance with EN 1400 + A2.
